To make easy white chocolate ganache, all you need is: heavy whipping cream, white chocolate chips, a saucepan, and a heat-resistant spatula. Just heat the heavy cream in the saucepan over medium heat until just before it starts to boil. Then, remove the pan from the heat and immediately mix in the white chocolate chips with the spatula until a smooth and even consistency is reached. Let the ganache cool until it’s thick, then drizzle over a dessert or store in a squeeze bottle.

How to Make the Easiest White Chocolate Ganache

Once you’ve rounded up the tools and gathered the ingredients, it’s time to move on to making the real magic happen! You’re just a few minutes and a few simple steps away from making the secret ingredient that’s going to make your homemade desserts completely irresistible and unbeatable! Here is how to do it:

    1. First, pour the heavy whipping cream into a saucepan over medium heat. Heat and occasionally stir the cream until right before it begins to boil.
    2. Then, immediately remove the pan from the heat, and mix in the white chocolate chips with a silicone spatula. Continue to mix until the ganache reaches a smooth and even consistency.
      1. To make this step easier, let the hot cream sit on the white chocolate chips for a minute or 2 before mixing by hand.
    3. Finally, let the ganache cool until it’s thick. Then drizzle the ganache over a dessert with a spoon, or store it in a squeeze bottle.

    Storing White Chocolate Ganache

Whether you end up with some white chocolate ganache leftover or you just want to make some ahead of time for a recipe, safely storing this ganache is very easy to do. Here is what you can do:

    • Store the homemade ganache in the squeeze bottle, or in another airtight container, and keep it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
      • If storing in an airtight container, make sure to first tightly wrap the surface of the container with a piece of plastic food wrap to prevent any film or crust from forming on top of the white chocolate.
    • To freeze white chocolate ganache, transfer the ganache to a Ziploc freezer bag and store for up to 1 month.
      • Thaw ganache in the fridge overnight before reheating.
    • Always label the date on the outside of the container.
    • To reheat the ganache, transfer to a microwave-safe bowl and heat in the microwave in 10 second intervals, mixing well between each interval, until the ganache reaches the right consistency.
