One of my favorite ways to give gifts is with a batch of melt-in-your-mouth homemade fudge! Fudge is a fantastic way to give a gift that’s right from the heart, made with love, inexpensive, and that’s really easy to make. Plus, you can make several batches over a couple of months and freeze them until you’re ready to do your gift-giving!
You can go with a loveable classic like my Classic Chocolate Fudge, or go a bit fancy with some White Chocolate Cranberry Pecan Fudge. One of my biggest hits, though, has been this one for my gorgeous Chocolate Fudge with a Peanut Butter Swirl!
Chocolate and peanut butter are one of the most classic dynamic dessert duos ever, so of course, they would make an irresistible batch of fudge! But one of the best things about fudge recipes is how creative you can get with them.
There are a few different ways to make sensational fudge with chocolate and peanut butter. I’ve made a simple batch where I just mixed the 2 layers together like in my Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge, but something about swirling the peanut butter layer on top just makes the fudge treats look amazing!
To me, presentation is just as important as taste! The fun and fanciful swirled fudge help set it apart from other homemade treats while also making it just look more professional, even though it’s super easy to do. Want to try it out? Here’s how to make my stunning Chocolate Fudge with a Peanut Butter Swirl.

- Repeat the scoring process horizontally. You should have perfect squares lined out.
- Then, heat a large knife blade in boiling hot water. Wipe it with a paper towel and cut off the uneven edges.
- Repeat the knife heating and wiping process before each cut.

Storing Fudge
To store fudge: first, wrap it securely in parchment paper or transfer it to an airtight container. Then, label the date on the outside of the wrapping and store it at room temperature for up to 2-3 weeks.
To freeze uncut fudge: first, grab a freezer-safe Ziploc bag and label the date on the outside. Transfer the block of fudge to the bag and release the extra air while sealing the bag closed. Store the fudge in the freezer for 2-3 months. Move the frozen fudge to the fridge to thaw for 2 days before cutting and serving.
