To make easy shrimp scampi, all you need is: a skillet, cooking utensils, shrimp, butter, shallots, garlic, white cooking wine, pepper, salt, parsley, and olive oil. First, preheat the skillet and melt the butter. Then, sauté the shallots and garlic for 3-4 minutes. Pour in the cooking wine and add the shrimp. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side. Add in the salt and pepper and mix well. Transfer the shrimp to a serving bowl, pour in the lemon juice, finish garnishing with the parsley and serve!

- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 shallots, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb shrimp, defrosted
- ¼ cup white cooking wine
- ¼ tsp Ground Pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
Garnishes:
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- ¼ cup Parsley, chopped
How to Make Easy Shrimp Scampi
Now let’s make some scrumptious shrimp scampi! This recipe is super easy to follow along with and can be ready in only 6 minutes! This is the perfect recipe to make when you need to cook up a quick and flavorful protein. Here’s how to make easy shrimp scampi:
- First, prepare and measure out the shrimp and scampi ingredients with the measuring spoons.
- Then, preheat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Drop in the butter and let it melt.
- Add in the chopped shallots and minced garlic and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
- Next, pour in cooking white wine.
- Then, add in the shrimp.
- Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes.
- Flip the shrimp and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add in the salt and pepper and mix well.
- Next, transfer the cooked shrimp to a serving bowl and pour in the lemon juice.
- Finally, garnish with the chopped parsley and serve!
Storing Shrimp Scampi
To store shrimp scampi: transfer the shrimp to a shallow airtight container, or wrap them tightly with kitchen foil or plastic wrap. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Always label the date on the outside of the container to keep up with freshness.
