One of my personal favorite kinds of pasta is easy linguine. Linguine can be paired with all kinds of meats, cheeses, sauces, and veggies to create any kind of pasta dish imaginable! One of my family’s favorite ways to enjoy it is paired with my Easy Shrimp Scampi!

To cook linguine pasta, all you need is: a cooking pot, colander, tongs, water, salt, olive oil, and a package of linguine pasta. First, pour the water, oil, and salt into the cooking pot and bring to a boil over high heat. Then, reduce the heat to medium and add in the linguine pasta. While cooking, occasionally move the pasta around with kitchen tongs so it doesn’t stick together. Cover and cook the linguine for 12 minutes. Finally, drain the pasta through the colander and serve.

- First, measure out the linguine ingredients with the measuring cup and spoons.
- Then, pour the water, oil, and salt into the cooking pot.
- Bring the ingredients to a boil over high heat.
- Then, reduce the heat to medium and add in the linguine pasta.
- While cooking, occasionally move the pasta around with kitchen tongs, otherwise the pasta will stick together.
- Cover and cook the linguine for 12 minutes, while occasionally stirring.
- Then, position a mesh strainer in a large glass bowl.
- Thoroughly drain the pasta through the strainer.
- Finally, transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy!
Storing Linguine Pasta
To store cooked linguine pasta: transfer to a shallow airtight container or ziploc bag and store in the fridge for up to 3 days. Always label the date on the outside of the container to keep up with freshness. To reheat pasta, transfer to a glass bowl and cover with boiled water. Let sit for 5 minutes, drain, and serve.
