One of my favorite sweet potato recipes is this one for my Simple Roasted Sweet Potatoes. These scrumptious roasted sweet potatoes are the perfect fall side dish for just about any autumn meal.

This scrumptious side dish is also the perfect healthy fall snack! Got a craving for something crunchy and delectable? These roasted sweet potatoes are the sweet and cravable solution! Plus they’re super easy to make, and they store really well if you know the right way to reheat them.

To easily roast sweet potatoes, all you need is: sweet potatoes, salt, pepper, oil, a cutting board, peeler, disposable gloves, and some baking utensils. First, I recommend putting on gloves so the sweet potatoes don’t stain your hands. Then, peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into small cubes. Place the cubes in a large mixing bowl and add in the oil, salt, and pepper. With covered hands, mix the cubes until they’re evenly coated in oil and seasonings. Next, spread the seasoned sweet potato cubes over a parchment-lined baking sheet. Roast them in a preheated oven for 30-35 minutes at 425°F. Finally, serve and enjoy!

How to Make Oven Roasted Sweet Potatoes

We’ve covered the kitchen tools and gathered the ingredients, and now it’s time to bring on all the feelings and flavors of autumn! This process is super easy to follow along with so it’s great for everyone! Here’s how to make simple roasted sweet potatoes:

    1. First, use the measuring spoons to measure out the seasonings and oil. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
    2. Then, grab the cutting gear and put on some disposable gloves.
      1. I highly recommend using disposable gloves, otherwise, the sweet potatoes will stain your hands a bright orange color!
    3. Next, use the peeler to peel all of the sweet potatoes.
    4. Set aside the peeled potatoes in a large glass mixing bowl.
    5. Then, remove the peels from the cutting board and dispose of them.
    6. Begin cutting the sweet potatoes by slicing them in half. Then, slice the halves in half again and begin cutting the slices into cubes.
    7. Repeat this process until all sweet potatoes are cubed and place the cubes in the large mixing bowl.
    8. Pour the oil, salt, and pepper over the sweet potato cubes.
    9. Then, with covered hands, mix the cubes until they’re all evenly coated in oil and seasonings.
    10. Next, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    11. Spread the seasoned sweet potato cubes over the lined baking tray in a single layer.
    12. Roast the sweet potatoes in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes.
    13. Finally, serve and enjoy!
