I think one thing everyone can agree on is that nothing beats the brutal summer heat like a refreshing, tasty, fruity, frozen beverage! But it seems like whenever I look for those kinds of delightful summer treats from a store, cafe, or restaurant they seem to be packed with excessive sugar and additives.

Since I usually prefer homemade recipes anyways, I knew I could whip up my own scrumptious summer beverage but much healthier! Then, after I started cooking my own boba pearls at home, I knew I had just opened up all kinds of new fun drink experiments!

I started experimenting with my own fruity boba smoothie concoctions and came up with my Mixed Berry Boba Smoothie! It turned out to be one of the best and most refreshing summer drinks ever!

The sweetness of some simple natural ingredients mixed with a bit of berry tartness is absolutely wonderful on a hot day! Ready to get a taste of this scrumptious summer treat? Let’s dive right in! Here’s how to make my Mixed Berry Boba Smoothie!

    7. Next, set a fine mesh strainer inside a large mixing bowl.
    8. Rinse and drain the boba pearls completely.
    9. Then, pour the drained boba pearls into a clean mixing bowl.

    Boba Smoothie Serving and Storage

Smoothies should be served and enjoyed right after being made. Cooked boba pearls should be consumed within 8-10 hours of being cooked. On their own, boba pearls need to be kept at room temperature or a bit warmer, if possible. Never store cooked boba pearls in the refrigerator or freezer!
