Whether slicing an apple for a recipe or to snack on, you want to make sure you’re cutting the apple into somewhat uniform or evenly-sized slices. Using an apple corer can help out greatly, but you can’t pick the size of the slices with this tool, and not everyone has one of these.

That’s no problem, though! I have a simple kitchen hack that will show you How to Slice Apples perfectly without any special tools or equipment. I love using this method when I make some of my Caramel Apple Slices for fall parties or for my Provolone and Apple Grilled Cheese for a scrumptious and satisfying lunch!

When fall hits and you start getting the itch to try some scrumptious homemade apple recipes like apple pie or Apple Bundt Cake with Caramel Glaze you’ll be so glad you kept up with this simple baking hack! Here’s how to easily slice apples.

To slice apples, all you need is: fresh apples, a cutting board, and a kitchen knife. First, rinse the apples. Then, place one on a cutting board. Using a kitchen knife, cut off 2 sides of the apple from the apple core. Then, cut off the 2 smaller remaining sides from the apple core. Begin cutting the apple chunks into slices as thin or thick as you want. Repeat for as many apples as desired! Then, serve and enjoy!
