To crush hard candies without making a mess, all you need is hard candy, a gallon Ziploc bag, a rolling pin, a cutting board, and a spider strainer. First, pour the candies into the Ziploc bag, remove the air, and seal it. Place the bag on a cutting board and use a rolling pin to roll over the candies until they are crushed into tiny pieces. Then, cut one corner of the bag and pour the crushed candies through the strainer to separate the large pieces from the small ones.
