Birthday parties are one of the most exciting times for kids of all ages. Not just for the birthday girl or boy, but for their party guests too! I mean between the playtime, the cake and ice cream, and, of course, the goodie-filled party favor bags, what’s not to love?!

When it comes to my daughter’s birthday parties I like to go all out with every aspect of the party details! I make sure everything is glitzed out in accordance to the party theme, even down to the party favor bags. But I do like to stick to a certain budget and sometimes that means doing a little DIY to make it happen.

When my daughter decided that she wanted a unicorn-themed birthday party, I started hunting down all the unicorn decorations I could find and started planning out the birthday cake and party treats. But one problem I kept running into was that most of the unicorn-themed party favor bags I could find were way too small for the party favors I wanted to use them for.

Now, when I can’t find what I’m looking for I get crafty and just make it myself, and it usually comes out cheaper. So that’s exactly what I decided to do here! I got some simple, inexpensive supplies and came up with one of the easiest and cutest DIY solutions to budget-friendly party favor bags ever!

This birthday party DIY is easily customizable for any kind of birthday party theme and they actually turn out way cuter than typical store-bought bags. My daughter and her friends absolutely loved these custom unicorn party bags! If these sound like the simple solution you’ve been looking for, then keep reading to find out just how easy it is to make these DIY unicorn party favor bags!
