When it comes to holiday shopping or constant birthday shopping for big families, the prices of individual gifts start to pile up really quickly! That’s one of the reasons why I decided to start making food gifts instead. Along with the fact that I already love cooking and baking, I also love making others happy with my sweet treats!
In recent years I started making batches of homemade fudge, like my White Chocolate Cranberry Pecan Fudge or my Chocolate Fudge with Peanut Butter Swirl, for my Christmas gift-giving, and the results have been amazing!
Not only do my friends and loved ones adore my scrumptious fudges, but I’ve been able to save a ton of time and money by doing this! By putting one day or weekend aside to make several batches of fudge, you can cut out having to spend every weekend from November through December just trying to mark off everyone from your holiday gift list.
Now, you need to know what to get to make the fudge and how to make it look nice, but you also need to know how to package it, so the pieces don’t stick together. There’s not a lot to it, but packaging and presentation can be everything! Here’s How to Package Fudge for Gifts.
To package fudge for gifts, all you need is: some disposable gloves, paper cupcake boxes, cupcake liners, and some stickers. First, put on the gloves and start separating the fudge pieces into individual cupcake liners. Move the lined pieces into the cupcake paper boxes. Finally, seal the boxes with stickers for a personal touch.
Packing Equipment and Materials
Let’s start with grabbing some simple packaging materials. You won’t need a lot, just some fudge, gloves, and a few cupcake “accessories”. Here’s everything I use to package fudge for food gifts:
