We s’mores fans just can’t get enough of the delectable flavor combination of toasty marshmallows, melty chocolate, and tasty graham crackers! But have you ever thought about sprucing up that traditional recipe with some other fun and fresh flavors? Perhaps with some fruity berries like the strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries that I like to use in these family favorite Fruit S’mores. Adding just a little of these delightfully fruity flavors will make those s’mores a top notch treat!
Not only is this fruity twist on the s’mores recipe a great way to add more flavor, but it can all be done indoors! If you have only ever tried making s’mores over a backyard bonfire, then the chances are pretty good that at some point you had to miss out on a fun night of s’mores galore. Whether that reason was due to getting rained out or it being way too humid out or perhaps the bugs are driving you nuts. Whatever the case may be, there are all kinds of unexpected surprises that could pop up to keep you indoors on what you had hoped to be a s’mores night. However, the cooking method I use in this recipe will keep all that from getting in between you and your scrumptious s’mores ever again!
To make irresistible fruit s’mores indoors, all you need is some marshmallow roasting sticks, a kitchen torch, some strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate bars. Just set a few graham crackers out and top with the chocolate bars. Then, carefully use the kitchen torch to toast the marshmallows on roasting sticks and stick them to the chocolates. Finish them off with fresh berries and they’re ready to serve!

How to Make Open- Faced Fruit S’mores
Now that you know what tools and ingredients you will need for this s’mores project, we can now go over breaking down the steps on how to easily whip up these fruity snacks. Just a few more minutes and you will be well on your way to sweet s’mores satisfaction!
- First, gather up and prepare your s’mores ingredients.
- To make this process run quickly and smoothly I like to unwrap everything and set all my ingredients out, like in my S’mores Charcuterie Board. This makes it way easier to grab each food item as I need it.
- Next, set out the tools that you will be needing for this project so they are within reach. Position a few graham crackers, or chocolate graham stars, on a plate or serving tray and top each one with some of the chocolate bars.
- Then, stick a marshmallow on one of the roasting sticks and use the kitchen torch to very carefully toast and brown the marshmallow.
- If you’re experienced using a kitchen torch then you can try doing a few of these at one time but I do not recommend this for beginners.
- As soon as the marshmallow is ready, stick it on top of one of the chocolate bars and immediately follow up with the fresh berries.
- Repeat the process until all of the fruity s’mores are ready for serving!
Storage note:
Due to everything having different storage lives, keep all of the foods stored in separate containers according to their necessities.
