Football season is here, and you know what that means…snacks! Endless, glorious, scrumptious homemade appetizers and snacks as far as the eye can see! Even for those of us who are not the biggest sports fans, the snacking season is a good enough reason to get excited anyway.

One of the most staple sports party appetizers is deviled eggs. But for my football house party, I wanted to take it a bit further and make complimentary Football Deviled Eggs! These scrumptious snacks are super easy to make, don’t require anything special, and are literally the perfect party food!

All it takes to make these tasty football snacks is just a little tweaking to the traditional recipe and you’re all set for the best Super Bowl party ever! Ready to get the snacking party, oops, I mean the football party started? Then let’s dive right in! Here’s how to make my easy Football Deviled Eggs!

To make easy football deviled eggs, all you need is: hard-boiled eggs, mayonnaise, dijon mustard, vinegar, salt, pepper, chives, and some kitchen utensils. Start by peeling the hard-boiled eggs, then cut them all in half lengthwise. Next, scoop all of the cooked yolks into a mixing bowl . Add in the mayo, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper and mix thoroughly. Then, transfer the filling into a piping bag fitted with a piping tip. Pipe the deviled egg filling into the empty egg whites. Then, cut the chives in several 1 inch and ⅓ inch pieces. Finally, arrange the chives on top of each deviled egg to look like football lacing. Serve and enjoy!

    Football Egg Equipment

First, let me go over my deviled egg equipment. There’s not a lot to expect here, just some typical kitchen utensils. I do like to use piping bags to fill my deviled eggs so that they look much nicer and much more presentable for parties. Here’s what I use to make football deviled eggs:

    • Measuring Cup
    • Measuring spoons
    • Glass mixing bowl
    • Knife
    • White cutting board
    • Piping bags
    • Piping bag ties
    • Jumbo piping tips

Now let me go over my eggy ingredient list. There’s nothing special to expect here either. To make the football effect on these eggs I just creatively tweak the chives a bit. Easy peasy! Here are my football deviled egg ingredients:

    • 6 hard-boiled eggs
    • ¼ cup mayonnaise
    • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
    • 1 tsp white vinegar

How to Make Football Deviled Eggs

Is that the game I hear in the background? Better get these devilishly good snacks whipped up quickly! It won’t take long at all so let’s get started. Here’s how to make my easy football deviled eggs:

    Making the Deviled Eggs:

    1. First, prepare the deviled egg ingredients with the measuring cup and spoons, and hard boil the eggs.
      1. Here’s my process for perfect Hard-Boiled Eggs.
    2. Once the eggs are prepared properly, crack and peel all of the boiled eggs.
    3. Then, use a knife to cut each egg in half lengthwise on a cutting board.
    4. Next, use a fork to start scooping the egg yellows into a mixing bowl.
    5. Repeat this process for all of the egg yellows.
    6. Then, add in the mayonnaise, dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper.
    7. Mix all the ingredients until fully combined.
    8. Next, transfer the egg mixture into a piping bag fitted with a metal piping tip. Close the bag with a piping bag tie.
    9. Then, set out all of the egg whites with the cut side facing up.
    10. One by one, pipe the yellow egg filling into the egg whites.
    11. Continue this egg filling process until all the eggs are full.

    Garnishing Football Eggs:

    1. First, cut the chives in a few 1 inch pieces (1 for each deviled egg) and several ⅓ inch pieces (3 for each deviled egg).
    2. Finally, arrange the chives on top of each deviled egg to look like football lacing. Serve and enjoy!
