To make a mango boba smoothie, all you need is: uncooked boba pearls, water, brown sugar, frozen mango chunks, ice, salt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, milk, and some kitchen equipment. First, properly cook, drain, and sugar the boba pearls. Then, add the frozen mango, ice, salt, syrup, vanilla, and milk into a blender. Close and secure the lid, then blend the ingredients together for 5 minutes. Next, scoop the boba pearls into the bottom of 2 serving glasses. Fill the glasses with the mango smoothie. Add a straw, serve, and enjoy!

How to Make a Mango Boba Smoothie

Now let’s slide into my smooth boba recipe! This process is simple, quick, easy to follow, and, most importantly, tons of fun to make! This is a great summer recipe to let the kiddos have fun helping with. Well, after the boba is properly cooked that is, since that process does need close attention for a little while. Here’s how to make my mango boba smoothie:

    Cooking Boba Pearls:

    1. First, measure out the mango boba smoothie ingredients with the measuring cup and spoons.
    2. Then, add the water to a 6-quart cooking pot.
    3. Over high heat, bring the water to a boil.
    4. Once boiling, pour in the uncooked boba pearls.
    5. Then, reduce the heat to medium and cook the boba pearls for 15 minutes. While cooking be sure to stir them continuously to keep the pearls from sticking together.
    6. Next, turn the heat off completely and close the lid of the pot. Let the boba pearls steep for another 15 minutes.
    7. Then, position a fine mesh strainer in a large mixing bowl.
    8. Drain and rinse the boba pearls thoroughly.
    9. Next, transfer the rinsed boba to a clean mixing bowl.
    10. Pour the brown sugar into the boba pearls.
    11. Blend the sugar into the boba pearls until they’re completely mixed together.

    Mango Smoothie:

    1. First, pour the frozen mango chunks into the blender.
    2. Then, add in the ice.
    3. Next, add in the salt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and the milk.
    4. Close and secure the blender lid.
    5. Blend the smoothie ingredients for 5 minutes.

    Making a Mango Boba Smoothie:

    1. First, spoon the cooked boba pearls into the bottom of 2 serving glasses.
    2. Then, fill the glass with the mango smoothie mixture.
    3. Finish the glass with a cute straw.
    4. Finally, serve and enjoy your mango boba smoothie!

    Boba Smoothie Serving and Storage

Smoothies should be served and enjoyed immediately after making. Cooked boba pearls should always be consumed within 8-10 hours of being cooked. On their own, boba pearls need to be kept at room temperature or even a bit warmer, if possible. Do not store boba pearls in the refrigerator or freezer!
