Vanilla Mermaid Cupcakes – Magical Ocean-Inspired Cupcakes for Birthdays and Special Celebrations

As the fresh outdoor air gets chillier, I can’t help but start thinking about all of the sweet autumn treats that I want to make this season! From pumpkin bread to pumpkin pie mug cakes, there is just never enough of that comforting pumpkin pie spice flavor. To get myself ready for the start of this exciting and pumpkin-y baking season, I like to go ahead and prepare my own simple, homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice blend to add a little extra love to all of my autumn recipes! This cozy autumn spice blend is super quick to make and it saves time and tools when it comes to prepping or measuring out recipe ingredients.

Now, of course, you can probably buy a little container of pre-made pumpkin spice at the store. However, I personally prefer the flavor mixture of my homemade blend compared to the store-bought blend, plus I feel like the homemade blend packs a little extra love, care, and flavor to my autumn recipes. And if you happen to be a frequent baker like me, then you probably already have what it takes to make your own batch of this pumpkin spice blend with seasonings and spices that are already sitting in your cabinet. Ready to welcome in autumn with that pumpkin pie spice delight? Then let’s get started!
