Instructions
Cooking the Pasta
First, measure out the linguine ingredients with the measuring cup and spoons.
Then, pour the oil, salt, and water into the cooking pot.
Cover and bring the ingredients to a boil over high heat.
Then, reduce the heat to medium and add in the linguine pasta.
Move the pasta around occasionally with kitchen tongs while cooking so the pasta doesn’t stick together.
Cover with the lid and cook the linguine for 12 minutes.
Then, place a mesh strainer in a large glass bowl.
Finally, carefully drain the pasta through the strainer.
Shrimp Scampi
Start by grabbing the 4 Ziploc freezer bags and the sharpie marker.
Then, use the black sharpie to label the date on all the bags.
Open the bags and roll down the tops to prop them open.
Next, divide the pasta evenly among the 4 bags.
Then, evenly divide the frozen shrimp among the bags.
Divide and add the chopped shallots and minced garlic to each bag.
Next, add the cooking wine, salt, and pepper to each.
Add the portioned butter and oil to the shrimp bags.
Lastly, add in parsley and lemon juice to each bag.
Finally, remove as much air as possible from each of the bags, zip to seal, and store them in the freezer for up to 2 months.
