Place the store-bought buttercream frosting into a large mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer, beat on medium speed for 2–3 minutes until smooth and fluffy.
Add the pink food coloring to the frosting. Mix on low speed at first, then increase to medium speed until the color is evenly distributed.
Continue mixing briefly, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed, until the buttercream is fully smooth and uniformly pink.
