Melt the ingredients together while stirring with a heat resistant spatula until the chocolate reaches a smooth consistency. Then, let the chocolate cool to 113°F.
Then, line a baking sheet with a parchment paper sheet, or wax paper, and set out the pretzel twists, white chocolate, and dipping tools.
Next, start dipping the pretzel twists into the white chocolate, making sure each pretzel is completely covered.
Use a fork or dipping tool to scoop the dipped pretzels out and let the excess chocolate drip off from each pretzel.
After the pretzels are covered, spread the dipped pretzels over the lined baking sheet then refrigerate them for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the melting pot with the dual liner insert. Add the royal blue candy melts and 1 tsp. coconut oil to one side, and add the red candy melts and 1 tsp. coconut oil in the other.
Melt them, while stirring, into a smooth consistency and cool the chocolates to 113°F.
Then, using a saucier spoon, or a plain spoon, drizzle the melted red chocolate over the chilled white chocolate covered pretzels. Refrigerate the pretzels for 10 minutes.
Next, cover your hands with gloves to keep from melting the hardened chocolate. Then, carefully chip off the excess red chocolate.
Prepare the blue chocolate and the star sprinkles.
With covered hands, dip one edge of each pretzel into the blue chocolate then lay them on another lined baking sheet.
Immediately after dipping each pretzel, cover the blue chocolate side with sprinkles before it has time to dry.
Refrigerate the pretzels for another 10 minutes.
Finally, serve and enjoy these star-spangled snacks!
