First, measure out the boba ingredients with the measuring cup and spoons.
Then, pour the measured water into a 6-quart cooking pot.
Using high heat, bring the water to a rapid boil.
Then, add the uncooked boba pearls to the boiling water.
Next, lower the heat to a medium setting and cook the boba pearls for 15 minutes while stirring them continuously to avoid the pearls sticking together.
Then, turn off the heat and close the lid of the pot. Steep the boba pearls for another 15 minutes.
Next, set a fine mesh strainer inside a large mixing bowl.
Rinse and drain the boba pearls completely.
Then, pour the drained boba pearls into a clean mixing bowl.
Add the brown sugar into the bowl of boba.
Finally, mix the sugar into the boba pearls until they’re completely combined.

Notes
Boba Smoothie Serving and Storage: Smoothies should be served and enjoyed right after being made. Cooked boba pearls should be consumed within 8-10 hours of being cooked. On their own, boba pearls need to be kept at room temperature or a bit warmer, if possible. Never store cooked boba pearls in the refrigerator or freezer!
