Next, tear the bread slices into manageable pieces and transfer them to a food processor.If you don’t have a food processor, you can alternatively cut or tear the bread into ¾-inch or smaller cubes or small bits.
Use the processor to “chop” the bread pieces for 2 minutes on low.If you are going to add seasoning, this is the step to do it in.
Then, line a baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper.
Spread the chopped bread crumbs over the lined baking sheet, then bake them for 5-10 minutes or until they are completely dry and crunchy.
After baking, let the bread crumbs cool completely. If finer bread crumbs are needed, put the bread crumbs through the food processor again.
Finally, transfer the bread crumbs to a mason jar or an airtight container to store in the fridge.
