First, prepare and measure out all of your Valentine pretzel ingredients.
Next, combine the white candy melts and 1 tbsp coconut oil in the candy melting pot.
Melt them together while stirring regularly with a heat-resistant spatula.
After the candy has melted completely, transfer the melted white candy to a silicone cup.
Let the melted chocolate cool to 110-120°F before dipping pretzel rods into it. Otherwise, the chocolate will just slide off the rod. Use a candy thermometer to check the temp.
Rinse and dry the lining of the candy melt pot. Then, combine the pink candy melts and 1tbsp coconut oil in the candy melting pot.
Melt them together while stirring regularly with a clean spatula.
Then, transfer the melted pink candy to a separate, clean silicone cup and let the chocolate cool to 110-120°F.
Rinse and dry the lining of the candy melt pot. Then, combine the red candy melts and 1tbsp coconut oil in the candy melting pot.
Melt them together while stirring regularly with a clean spatula.
Then, transfer the melted red candy to a separate, clean silicone cup and let the chocolate cool to 110-120°F.
Line 5 baking sheets with parchment paper, gather the pretzel rods, and the cups of chocolates.
Dip each pretzel rod into the melted white chocolate, then spread them out over 1 of the lined baking sheets. Let the white chocolate harden on the pretzel rods either on the counter for 30 minutes, or in the fridge for 10 minutes.
Then, dip each of the pretzels into the melted pink chocolate, spread them out over a fresh, lined baking sheet, and let the chocolate harden again.
Lastly, dip each of the pretzels into the melted red chocolate, spread them out on a separate, fresh, lined baking sheet. Let the chocolate harden again.
Decorating Valentine Pretzels
First, reheat each of the remaining chocolates and add 1 tsp of coconut oil to each color. This batch needs to be runny for easy drizzling.
Keep heating until the melted chocolates reach a runny consistency.
Now it’s time for some fun! Use a few saucier drizzle spoons to drizzle the runny chocolate garnishes over the hardened chocolate-covered pretzel rods. Mix the decorating between drizzles and dots of chocolate.
Immediately after drizzling, top the covered pretzels with the Valentine Sprinkles and Hearts.
Then, let the Valentine pretzel rods dry completely before serving or packaging.
Finally, package these cuties in clear, self-sealing bags for perfect Valentine gifts! You can fit 3 decorated pretzel rods per bag.

Notes
Storing Candied Pretzel RodsTo store chocolate-covered pretzel rods: transfer them to a large ziploc bag, an airtight container, or in the self-sealing gift bags. Separate layers with wax paper. Store at room temperature or slightly cooler, out of direct sunlight, for 2- 3 weeks. Always mark the date on the outside of the bag or container to keep up with freshness. I do not recommend storing these chocolate pretzel rods long-term in the fridge or the freezer due to the potential of the pretzels softening or going stale from moisture.
