First, measure out all of the bread roll ingredients with the measuring cups and spoons.
Then, in a glass mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, yeast, and sugar.
Using a blending whisk, whisk the ingredients together until well combined and a little bubbly on top of the mixture.
Then, cover the bowl with plastic wrap, or a disposable shower cap.
Let the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes.
Bread dough
Next, prepare a standing mixer with a dough hook attachment.
Pour the yeast mixture into the bowl of the standing mixer and add in the flour, salt, and melted butter. Mix the dough together on medium-low (2nd speed).
Continue mixing until a big dough ball has formed.
Next, spray another large glass bowl with some cooking oil spray.
Place the dough ball in the greased bowl, and cover with plastic wrap or a disposable shower cap.
Place the dough bowl on a heat pad, or in the warmest spot of your house. Cover the wrapped bowl with a kitchen towel, and let the dough rise for 1 to 1.5 hour. The dough is ready when it has doubled in size.
Next, preheat the oven to 375°F.
Then, use a dredge shaker to lightly flour a flat, even surface and use the chop cutter to cut the dough into 6 equal portions. Form the portions into 6 balls or rolls. For smaller dinner rolls, cut the dough into 12 portions. You may need 2 baking pans for 12 rolls.
Lightly grease an 8x8 baking dish with cooking spray oil.
Next, space the dough balls out evenly in the baking dish.
Wrap the baking dish with plastic wrap or a disposable shower cap. Place the dish on the heat pad, or warmest spot of the house.
Cover the wrapped dish with a kitchen towel.
Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
Finally, bake the dinner rolls in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Glaze
After removing the rolls from the oven, while they’re still hot, use a silicone brush to brush the freshly baked rolls with some milk. Enjoy!
