First, print out individual bag labels for the dry ingredients on the round labels and the recipe instruction cards. You can print the recipe cards off at home on photo paper or you can have them printed at a local store, which is what I did.Keep in mind that the baking soda and salt will go in the same small bag so they will need to be on the same label.
Then, place the individual labels on the reclosable bags. Label the 7x10 inch bags for flour, the 5.5x7.9 inch bags for the sugars, and the 3.5x5.5 inch bags for the baking soda and salt.
Next, cut a 2-inch tip off of a piping bag.
Pre-open all of the labeled reusable food bags.
Then, use the piping bag as a funnel to carefully pour the ingredients into the bags as follows: (This recipe makes 10 kits, so there should be 10 each of the labeled ingredient bags)2 ¾ cups of flour per individual flour bag.1 tsp of baking soda + ½ tsp salt per each labeled soda/salt bag.1 cup of brown sugar per each brown sugar bag.½ cup granulated sugar per each gran. sugar bag.Remember to insert the tip of the piping bag into the opening of each bag to keep from spilling any ingredients on the lip of the bag. This will prevent it from getting an airtight seal later on.
Repeat until all of the dry ingredients have been measured out into the appropriate reusable bags.
Next, close each bag tightly and seal it with a Vacuum Sealer Machine.
Finally, transfer one of each ingredient bag, along with a cookie dough scoop, a mini bag of unicorn chocolate chips, and a recipe card into each of the DIY unicorn party favor bags. Here is How to Make DIY Unicorn Party Favor BagsEach cookie kit makes about 28 unicorn chocolate chip cookies.
